The BF2 is also the world's first 2hp engine to come with a throttle grip on the tiller handle, allowing forward movement and neutral selection at the flick of a wrist. It is incredibly easy to use, with 360 degree rotation and simple one handed operation.
This variant is the long shaft model. BF2 runs on standard unleaded fuel supplied from a 1 litre integral fuel tank.

Honda 4 Stroke Engines
25-50 Hp

When you really want to leave your troubles behind the BF25 is the perfect outboard for cruising the inland waterways of the UK.
Clean quiet and efficient but with responsive performance and power available when its needed the BF 25's 3 cylinders offer all the benefits of a four stroke engine in a smaller package.
On the BF25, a flywheel driven ventilation system provides high cooling efficiency within the engine cover, making the power output more stable. An electronic rev limiter prevents the engine from over heating. If an overheat occurs in the water-cooling this system will automatically reduce the revs until the problem is corrected and then allows it to regain speed gradually.

You couldn't imagine an engine better suited to sporting or commercial activities than the BF75. Open the throttle and the response is immediate, the acceleration smooth and sure. And it seems to have power in reserve at all revs.
The power comes from an overhead camshaft, 4 cylinder, 12 valve engine encased in a uniquely designed engine block with the flywheel at the base of the power head. This lowers the centre of gravity to give greater stability, manoeuvrability and smoother handling. It also helps to reduce vibration. BF75 and BF90 provide optimum performance from every drop of fuel. And the fuel goes a long way. So you can follow the fish as far as you like, in complete peace of mind.
